The owner of the marina wants us to have a season opener there too next year???????? :smile29: Which means he wants two events there next year.

THB Spring Nationals, Lake Tawakoni, TX, 11-13 May, 2012.

We good???

We got plenty of time to pick these dates.  You guys give Bobby a chance to catch his breath and talk to the Marina.  We all know what happens when a date is changed.  No need to start speculation only to find that date won't work for some reason.  He did a great job pulling this one together.  I'm sure he will do the same on the next one.

I was actually just throwing that out there, but really I think one is enough. I'd personally like to travel a little more next year to Jetfest, Hydrofest, Broken Bow, Welchfest and the likes. I did two of the four mentioned this year and they were awesome. One road trip a month and one biggie in our own back yard is good for me.

Good point! One thing to think about is if we can come up with the.funds, make time, etc we should all travel out side the box a little more! And come to each others events! Think how cool it would be to have a 100 boats at all events and the show!

Look at the pics of her face when she got off the boat, and then Tintman gave a ride to a resident youngster. His high five after the ride was probably the talk of his school. I sent Wyatt (marina mgr/owner) and the 2 riders the pics of them. Bet they will have some tales.

I think pics 427 - 429 out of the 524 Mike took are her.  You might look at the few before that and actually find one of the pass.

Agreed... some of you guys made a couple OUTLAW events and the DIG in Arkansas, and that really helps in getting my group to travel down to these events, I went to an event every other week all summer long....til september! The Outlaws had a great time...and i feel many more of the group will show next time. Its great to end the season with such an awesome event.Hot boaters make these events what they are.Its one thing to flip crap on the internet...but its the real life experience of havin a beer or just a handshake with people in person. There was so many people that havent been mentioned that made my weekend great. Thanks to all you guys ...whether you helped load or unload my boat or just made the effort to come say hello...thats why i show up. All the Lavon guys..thanks!  clap.gif

DIG in Arkansas? What is this DIG you speak of?? I have family in Arkansas and this would be a good reason to show my brother what a REAL boat looks like! LOL

We'll definitely do Broken Bow again over the 4th. I want to go to Duane's event also. I think he does Hydrofest.

No doubt, looking at the pics from 2011 Ouachita there are almost all TX numbers on the boats. That river stuff looks pretty cool.

Is that who had all the side by side "tuning" videos?

I want to see if Bobby yanked me as hard as it looked like on the start of our second tuning session
