I'am in, sp you going north to make the trade, v drive for jet boat?? bring some warm clothes, I hope you drive the boat  this time...402 on fuel thats going cost some bucks for gas...good luck on the deal... :smile15:

That is the plan at the moment , but things might change . We are working out a few details still . Supposed to meet up at Lavon so we can put them in the water . Not really sure I will be buying the good stuff for very long , Prefer to stick to Super Unleaded  .

That thing as 13/1 pistons in it, 93 will not work in it.. you can get good stuff cheaper than you buy enough oct. booster to make it move a point...Less you plane on taking it  apart to lower to 11/1?    good luck...

No , I would rather build another motor from scratch than change pistons in that one . I have most of a 454 already , just need to get some machine work done and decide on a setup . Probably change the crank and go with a stroker setup . More inches at less compression will give me about the same power and run on pump gas .

Yeah , I know a guy over here that has a machine shop and he used to race boats alot . I would be getting with him on the setup of a somewhat mild storker that I can run on pump gas and make decent power .
