We got poured on at Pebble Beach, then had to cross the ocean to get back to East Fork, but was still a great day at the lake. Maria went to Rockwall today and after driving over the bridge on Ray Hubbard want's nothing to do that mess today. She said the swells are huge. We'll probably pass on the fireworks tonight.

EDIT: Forgot to add there was a guy out there today visiting from Houston that had a red and white Liberator like Georges. Even had that same big V6 on the back. Andy showed up too with his new motor in the Sidewinder jet and it sounded DAMN good!

Went to Hubbard, never got the boat off the trailer. Between the cluster flock at the ramp, weather and 4' tall white caps it just wasn't gonna happen.

I think my friend Amanda is a jinx, every time I bring her out there it starts raining.  I told her ya'll were going to tell me to stop bringing her! hahahaha

Naaa, you can bring chicks to the lake anytime. The jinx has to be something else.. LOL

I was there floating the Daytona for the first time.....even heard James was going to pick on me......James I'm no threat....I can't even throw a good roost...BUT I'm very happy!!!!

Your boat rides real nice Gary. Looks like it airs out just right. I have nothing for you other than a little friendly smack talk.

Well we didnt put in until around 8pm we went to mother and father inlaws house and chilled until weather past and then went out just before the fire work show was about to start.  It was a Good show !

I'm still on the fence.  Dawn just went back to bed.  Another cell just popped up near Greenville.  I have a fear of getting stuck in the rain and having to haul ass across the lake in a boat I don't fully trust yet.  I don't mind as much in the Ambassador.  If we do come I will probably just launch at Pebble.

Went to put a new alternator belt on cause the one broke at Broken Bow and found the alternator hanging off the top bolt. The bottom bolt broke off inside the block. I have to get that out then use a better bolt. I think I just have a Home Depot bolt in it now.

sorry,james about the bolt.matt we took a vote at pebble beach sunday afternoon 100% said you would not melt if you got wet.what is a little rain besides i would be the one to melt.lol
