Only need 2 coats on the mold.
One will do, but the second coat covers all of the little spots ya thought were covered.

These are the angles im working with.

Pre cut all your angles with cardboard to get it right, then cut your other material a little large and trim to fit. The cardboard is just easier to work with and you can crease it and staple to hold in  place.

i Heart Haters.....classic, not sure i would use an ABBA cover as a song to showcase my system.

if your only gonna add one battery it needs to be the best series 27 deep-cycle you can find.

Maybe I'm old, but I see no need to hear the stereo from 500 feet away, rattle the doors off of on F350, or make soda bottles dance on top of a manhole cover. If it's loud enough to get my woman to shake her booty on the front deck with another chick and the whole sytem's under 25lbs, I'm golden.

That Wetsounds boat it rediculous!  Im just keeping it simple.  Ill be looking for a large CL27 deep cycle for my backup battery.  I think ill put them on seperate sides of the boat to try and keep the weight centered.

I was wondering so I weighed my system this morning. You know we like to keep the squirt boats trim, even the cruisers don't want to go too crazy. Anyway, mine's not installed yet so I threw it all on a scale....  37lbs total, plus add a pound or two for the fiberglass enclosure. That stuff add up fast!!

But I take it weight isn't as much as a concern in a Scarab as it is in a squirt boat or v-dive?? Those things already weigh a couple of tons, right?

my yr model spec sheet it has a dry weight of 3000lbs, now i lightened it up taking the captains call out and going to aluminum exhaust but added with fiberglass on the floor heavier engine hatch, three batteries and a stereo.
