I may make it , but will be in the Pontoon boat .. No engine for the Flattie yet ..  :smile18:
It will be a sad day not having Tom there anymore .. RIP -- TOM ..

JJ. Stacy. I would love to be there. Having you all there for the first time with new hardware from you guys would have meant a lot to me. I won't be ready and will be out of town. I hope we get some more time later.

We are thinking about it. I spoke with EO on Friday and told him we'd try. Our sons have a baseball tournament coming up and we aren't sure which weekend it starts.

Hope to make it though.

Water level has come up foot and a half in the last couple weeks, it is still low but Steele Creek should be good, just do not know how long. j.j.

Usually Interstate has a shelf of economy batteries. They let their batteries set on the shelf for 6 months, then they relabel them and sell them as Econostart. :smile30:

the cheap interstates also are refurbed "used" batteries some one brings in a three year old battery they refill with acid and put on a charger for a few days and sell as refubs,,buddy had a pair on his doge cummins, that would get started but once every other week, they wouldn't hold a charge for more than a three days

Your buddy shouldn't be buying cheap batteries to start a diesel! :smile30:

The water was great with little wind.  Very few other boats following holiday weekend.
Water is low but usable.
