I know some are spending the night at the Indian Resort.  I think I am coming up, do not know if it will be with a boat though.  I am waiting on parts for the Checkmate.

I am debating about coming up too. If I do you can ride with me if you want.

It seems like most of the places to go are called jet boat cove or something like that for some reason.  I've never understood that, but
jet boaters seem to have the need to call it jet boat something, which must make it theirs.

I think it would only be appropriate to call Steele Creek, V-Drive cove as more V-Drives tend to show up than other types.
I knew there was a reason I liked Steele Creek, that and it's a place for fast boats.

We had fun taking the Pontoon all the way to the dam .. Sorry Tim about the wind coming in .. I felt sorry for you guys driving all the way up , plus not very many people showing up .. Not sure why only a handful showed up Saturday ..
Normally Steel Creek is nice and calm , it was all morning until about 2:30 , it was perfect flat bottom water with just ripples out there , sure made me miss my boat .. I would have went through a few gallons of fuel Saturday .. LOL ..

Disturbed, disturbed the water.  Put the boat in at about 2:15 and made a couple short passes.  It got rough while I was out there.
