Steel Creek turned out nice with smooth water for the day.
It seems we may have been lucky on timing. On the way home to Fort Worth, I ran into some strong winds from the outer boundaries of a front that created unexpected wind problems on Ray Hubbard east of Dallas. I don't know if it ever made it that far south, but I could sure feel the wind blowing when I ran into it. Luckily there was no rain involved.
J.J. turned up with another nice boat that he hadn't told his friends about. Those Schiada V-Drives are really nice looking boats and take a nice set when running. Way to go J.J. clap.gif

I don't make a good rider either. No still have the the superstock motor in it. Got the plate set and the spring but had some throttle cable issues. He whacked that thing a couple of times in gear and I think he woke it up.

Nor sure why but there is a definite segregation between the southwest NTX guys and the northeast NTX guys. Probably because we are 2 hours away from each other. When the SW guys go south it is an even longer drive for us from the northeast. We all make the same lake once or twice a year but not on a regular basis. I guess that is what you are talking about Randall.

Yeah Billy I won't ride with Stacy anymore either. JJ is so right. Great ride though that boat sticks and corners and goes and goes.

Looks like a good time & some nice sleds. Thanks again for the invite JJ, maybe we can make it next time. A couple of us are gonna be out on Belton Sunday for sure & maybe Saturday depending on a couple things if anyone wants to venture down, over or whatever .....
