What is the chance of changing the fun at Steele Creek Park to Sunday not Saturday this year????

We could make it down that way for a couple of Sundays over the course of the summer, but most will be spent at Lavon.

Billy my wife is off on Sat. and we are going to try to spend that day doing things around the house. I am sure I can make it some sat. just not all. Starting next month M-Th. I am going to be working in my shop  Friday and Sunday is my time so it would work better for me, Paul said Sunday was better for him, so just checking do not know about E.O. Tony, or Jim. Just checking, Sundays there seam to be less boats on the river.  j.j. :smile27:

NEIL HOW ARE YOU? CALL OR COME BY THE SHOP. THE 572 DART IS CLOSE .  INTAKE AND ROCKERS. STARTED ON THE E85 565 AND I AM TRYING TO GET ALL THE TUBES , HOSES FOR THE 555 TURBO MOTOR FOR MY BIG HALLETT. WE ARE GOING TO JOE POOL FRIDAY COME ON OUT.

EO : What time you heading to Joe Pool today . I was going to drop off my intake for you on the way home . but it can wait.. Did you get the block back from the machine shop for my little engine ?

Sunday will work for me JJ . Maybe the wife will make it out  with me this year..

You better let that ankle heal good and not do the stuff that I did with the boat and the broken ankle .. Let me know when you want to make a day trip to Brownwood .
We can take both out boats and see what type of attention we get .

When is the first trip to Steel Creek . I can go as soon as the water warms up some . , I still have the little back up engine in the boat. It sounds fast at least .. LOL .. Some how 80 MPH seam slow in this boat ..

Ya, I'm curious as to how "Hot boat friendly" these folks really are. I haven't read any comments from the campground owners......I wonder if the invite is still there?

EO: I am doing better and according to the Doc it is looking good. The long screw comes out the 23rd. I will call you. Not sure if I can make it down to Joe Pool today. Billy: Yeah Billy I have been taking it easy but you know this weather is driving me crazy. Even if I didn't get anything done I want to get out. Doc says it is all looking good. Taking a ride to Brownwood wood be fun to. Hope to see you all soon.

I/we are sure it will be friendly. All the indications are there as with the invite. No need to worry. As suggested we will go to the private area we have been invited to and check it out. Tah dah! Another great day.

As soon as you can get in the water . let me know . Maybe we take your truck and pull my boat for a day trip .. Pushing the pedal down is hard to do in a boat with a bad ankle ..Trust me I know . Plus the boot could get hung up under the dash like mine did at Steel Creek that day . That was interesting !!!

Or if you think you can drive your boat we will take both boats ..

Only thing will hold me up is if I am changing the engine out that weekend .

Hey Billy! Sounds like a great idea. It is my right foot. Loud pedal. Hahaha. I tried driving today. It is great out of the house. Hehe. Road trip.

Get out and get some practice pushing that LOUD PEDAL down .. Just remember in the boat it is a lot harder and not near as smooth as your Durango .. the bouncing in the boat was what hurt mine ..

Road trip sound good to me .. Might have to go by the Loco Coyote on the way back or down going there ..
