Im pretty sure they are the factory switches, which would be waterproof.  But after 15 years the waterproofing probably doesnt exhist anymore!

Any thoughts on where I can get one of these rocker switches?

i'm just this way, but i'd pull the swith and see it was capable of being taken apart and clean it,  and put electorlyte grease on the contacts and re assemble and put it back in the boat,  but that's me  crazy.gif

John, you hit it on the money, looks to be identicle.

Kona, I like the way you think.  Ill probably pull it apart and see what happening in there before I buy a new one.

something just jumped in my head,  does that have a relay or solenoid on a motor with the oil reservoir,  back in the engine compartment....  and if so have you check it????

It sure does, on the side of the pump motor.  I checked it and it seemed to be working properly.  When the switch was sending a good signal, everything worked fine.  When the switch was going haywire, I couldnt override the switch, and the motor would trim all the way up.

ok,  now i can't see what exactly what you got,  but disconnect the switch at the relay/ or solenoid( power from the switch to it,  and see if the switch is giving constant power in the off position,  if not your problem may be at the relay or solenoid which ever you have there.....    just a thought  think.gif

but you did say that you wacked the switch it quite trimming up,  didn't you.    but doesn't hurt to double check
