I just drove from P;ano to Granbury and it took me 2.5 hours to go 85 miles , but it is beginning to melt .. Ft.Worth not as bad as Dallas

Thanks Billy, We live in the sticks, and love our old house.  Built in 1932, the construction is mind blowing.  I have to drill a pilot hole in the 2X4's to drive a nail, and they are really 2X4.

That is when a house was built out of quality wood .. Sure don;t get that today ..
Only bad thing on those old house ,normally does  not have a lot of insulation , but you can alway drill a hole in top of the walls and blow it in them to help ..

Melting off all over the streets just in time for it to freeze back into a slick smooth sheet of ice   Hopefully just one more morning of this ice stuff for a while and that will be all!!!

How are the roads in Denton? I ventured out a while ago and they were very slick so I turned around and came back. I'm getting hungry now and don't feel like eating anything in the house....it's a cabin fever thing I reckon. Might just venture out and get something. The temps are dropping again and the roads are starting to freeze up as the sun is setting. Gonna be a slick night tonight for sure.

roads have some slick spots but are passable......... i figure its all going to refreeze tonight so in the morning its gna be bad
