Slight signs of SPRING!!

dayum it's nipply outside this morning, well i left my cold water running lastnight so pipes wouldnt freeze and i'll be danged if i didnt get up to take a shower this morning and the hot water pipes froze, nice cold shower.... hurry.gif

Ya, when I watched the news last night they said to leave both your hot and cold water faucets dripping.

Sucks bro......when the pipes thaw (maybe Saturday) you're going to have a mess on your hands.

Friggin 20 in Columbus this morning!  Luckily there's no ice......yet......  We have a chance for snow Friday.

i hope there not going to be any broken pipes as i'm still staying in my camper untill i buy a house, when i get home after work today i'm going to turn the thermostate up to about 80* and leave it for about an hour to thaw them out............

Cool. Maybe it's a roaming brown out type of thing because of the high demand for electricity. Thing is, at 12 degrees, when the electricity goes out......some peoples safety is at risk.

On a lighter and more promising note, today is groundhog day!! Paxatanee Phil did NOT see his shadow this morning hence an early spring is forecasted.

dont get your hopes up cliff, i was reading about Punxsutawney Phil on yahoo just now and they said he's been predicting the weather for 120 years now and only been right 39% of the time..lol...hell i think thats a better percentage than the weather people on tv.... clap.gif

David!! You're ruining my hopes of an early spring bro!!! Haha.

I just got off the phone with Oncor and as suspected, they are doing roaming outages because of the high electric demand in the area. With that said, the power should come on in a few minutes. Good thing the fireplace doesn't need electricity.

We just lost power in Rowlett for about 20 minutes. I put the news on and yes, Encore is doing rolling blackouts for a while. Apparantly one of our power plants in the area is out and the ones remaining are overloaded.
