Man, that's a good deal. You see more and more of dudes robbing houses getting busted by these home security cameras on the news all time. $105 can't go wrong.

They have similar ones set up in Fry's electronic over here. Heck, they may be the same ones. They camera's have a pretty good picture. Don't know how they will stand up the weather.

the thing is... let's say you catch them on video. Do you really think the police are going to do anything? I don't.

I know someone who had thier travel trailer stolen from thier driveway , and they caught the thief on camera . The police officer that came out to make the report looked at the video , but didn't even want a copy of it . He asked the people if they knew the guy , and they said no . He said "neither do I , what do you want me to do drive arolund and look for the guy ? " The camera does not mean you will catch whoever is on the video , but alot of people will not mess around if they see that you have cameras . I have them on my house , but more as a deterent than anything .

My Ruger 10-22 came up missing after my Daughter had a party at the house, Long story short. The Sherriff that came to my house........Ex Army..........A Cop.........Did not know the difference between a Rifle and a Shot Gun! he did not know what a forestock was nore did he know what a Butt plate was! This guy is supposed to "protect and serve" ???!!!!!

I see it a couple times a month here on the morning news. Got a guy caught and arrested from a home security camera. As popular as the news is making them out to be, they are a great deterent.

Police or no Police, I would see what they looked like.  I think they would rather the Police catch them than me.  Just say'n!

X2.  There is always the chance you will recognize they criminal.  Not to mention you may get some great footage of the UPS guy for YouTube.

So that 4 camera setup, do you just put a regular desktop computer hard drive in it? I believe if you connect it to your home router you can monitor your camera's from work. Might not be a bad idea to get the 8 camera setup in that case to keep on eye on the outside AND your teenagers on the inside!! LOL

You are correct.  Standard SATA drive and it can be monitored via the Internet with computer or smart phone.
