Me and a buddy of mine are gonna try to make it out sunday.I have been working on this sanger alley cat and I think it is about ready to get wet.He is gonna be in a Taylor (also a weedwhaker) but it will be two boats.If anyone is thinkin about it I will know for certain Friday afternoon. :smile10:

Is the river salty??  I won't put my boat in couple of rivers here because of the salt content.

There is a dam, the water come's out of the lake goes down the river to the bay...when the tide is up and the water coming out of the dam is low or slow the bay water finds it's way up the river... You can not teast ( spell check needed here) the salt. X that buy a couple of years HAHA  wash your boat after the day and flush your moter.. Have a nice day....    :smile12: :smile12: :smile12:

At times it has a bit of salt i would hardly call it brackish as you can not feel it or even taste it if you get sprayed. I have not seen or ever heard of anyone having a problem with it. Like Sid said the dam for lake houston is just a few miles up river
You need to bring that pretty boat up for a weekend

Ok we busted our asses to get this thing presentable.We will be there sun.around 1 or 2 oclock @ loves. I am gonna bring plenty of tools.Come on out we are gonna run to riverside( bloodymary's)then to mustang and the skinny dip. :smile13:
