so this is probably going to sound weird to most of ya'l.

I have been invited to a christmas boat parade in a couple of weeks. the parade takes place at night and you are suppost to decorate3 you boat with christmas lights and such and judges grade you on how well it looks. well my boat isnt very tall so it is going to be hard to have a nice display of lights on it. SO, here is my brilliant idea. i want to light up my rooster tail blue, green and red,

Does anyone have any ideas how i could light up the rooster tail? I really appriciate it.

Underwater LED light kit from Livorsi, overtons...wherever.  Rig a bracket up to bolt onto your diverter and attach light in just right location to be inside the rooster stream.  who cares what the bracket looks like...dark and only used to hold a light.  make it stout though.

THis will allow it to move with the nozzle...up down left right.

the lights i have seen are kinda oval shape like trailer lights but flatter.  so when you mount it, mount 2, one on either side of the bracket like mounting on both sides of a blade.  put the "blade" in the stream like a rudder.

Bam!  there you go!  get red ones!

If these LED lights can hold up to running across the lake on the bottom of your boat then they should be okay in your rooster stream.  I actually just erased an email ad for those last week.  i thought, what the hell do i want those for.  now i know!!

Sounds like a cool idea-but i don't think i'd ever fly my tail after dark...especially with alot of others on the lake!!!!  crazy.gif
