The founder of Outer Limits passed away. Very sad deal indeed, our great sport of fast boats claims another one! :smile18:

Yep this was tough to hear about.  I love the sport but hearing this sort of thing really gets your attention.  I have a discussion with the "Good Lord Above" every time I sit in the Hydro. Another reason I preach safety gear, I feel with out a doubt I would have been seriously hurt or killed if I had not had it on with my crash. 

We need to Pray for his Family

Yes, apparently it looked as if he was getting better, then something went wrong and he passed in the hospital! From what I understand, he brought allot of innovative ideas to the sport.

This was very tragic news and I haven't seen an official announcement yet but it was my understanding that he developed a blood clot in his brain and passed from that.

Its horrible news to hear, RIP and thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.  OL will go on, they have some incredible boats.  Hopefully some sort of safety system will be created in the future to reduce the number of these CAT flips.
