Got the tx and both rx batteries charged. Got the plane loaded. Loading equipment now.

I think the posts are alittle backwards,  we are bs ing on the R/C thread about work and flying on the south thread,  leaving to patch to get it backwards  crazy.gif

Yup, tired of hearing about how I can't do it. :smile16:

At the current level, it'll be like 12 years before I get low wind nice day, someone with a buddy cord, 15 acres of balloons on the ground for airbags, etc...

My advice would be get some decent altitude, and set your trims so that it will stay level on it's own. That way it isn't wanting to do anything stupid all time. Once trimmed, you can get back to learning the basics. I recomend shooting approaches!

I've been throwing everything I can think of at the sim...trims way off, engine stalls, side winds...learned to trim it alone wile flying. I think I'll be ok, and if I crash, it'll give you guys something to rag me about for the next 6 months or so. Win-win.

i know what ya mean duane,  one of the reasons i lost interest in flying,  the pretty days are the days you can't fly......

shit the first time i said i can do it on my own.... i crashed....  so it's no biggy,  just means ya have to fix it

Wish I wasn't working, and lived closer! I think you can do it. It also helps to get some altitude and learn at what speed it stalls. That's good to know for landing purposes!
