Pump to motor water hose

I'm wanting to to use AN fittings on the pump and hose that feeds the motor. Has anyone done this that can tell me where they bought the parts and what sizes they used? Maybe some pictures of a boat that has been done this way? I also want to run two water exit hose from the motor and I don't have but two spots to do this on my intake and one has to be used for my headers. Any ideas?

Hose fast in Garland has all the parts you need. As for the sizes, I'm not sure what they are. You'll have to bring in your equipment (if able) and let them size it up for you.

What are you doing for your water dump/header feed right now, using one of these?

I gotcha.. my line of thinking was using one of those for your two over board dumps & have your header feed coming in somewhere else in the line. Assuming you want to keep the valve though, so you can adjust the header water at will?

I set mine up runnining the 1/2" pipe outta the pump thru the transom, then the 1/2" ball valve then the water hose fitting that has 1/2" NPT to -8 fitting. The -8 runs under the oil pan to a -8 Tee that sits under the damper. The Tee splits into two -8 lines that feed the water jacket thru the water pump holes using plates tapped 1/2" NPT with 90* -8 adapters.

You can eliminate the pipe with a NPT to -8 fitting screwed into the pump then make a short hose that goes to transom, go thru the transom plate with a bulkhead fitting.

I run a single -10 dump (bigger to than the feed to keep pressure in check). You need a thermostat housing with pipe taps to add an additional dump if your intake won't support that, must be a ford thing  as my Super Victor intake has 3 pipe taps into water.

Be prepared to spend some $$$$$. That $hit adds up quick.

Water feed/dump on my motor.

See the bulk head fitting thru the transom on Eric's old boat

That's the plan thanks! I plan to move the header water valve by the driver seat so I can control it without reach to the back and the kids will quit bumping it.

Here's a link with the info on it. The outlets are threaded so that should let you use the fittings & line you want. http://shopping.rexmar.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=390143&Category_Code=waterdivoutletalum

They have a raw cast aluminum one too, but for only a few bux difference may as well get the shiny one.

Ya, be nice to have the header water valve right up there by you where its easy to get to, but out of the way at the same time.

Jegs seems to have pretty good prices on their AN fitting and I've good luck with them.
You might consider using the black nylon braided hose that is used for the AN fittings, they are a little higher but really easy to work with
and they don't scratch polished parts like the stainless braid hose.  Either will work and it's a matter of preference.

You might check with EO also, I think he can get pretty good prices on the AN fittings.

I wish I would have went with the nylon stuff but I had hook up on SS at the time. The black nylon stuff is really nice IMO.
