From reading your posts, it seems that you will beat CJ to the lake afterall. Well done!!!!

It isn't done just yet . But I am not really worried about being on the water before CJ . Hopefully he will get his boat finished in time to make it to RTC . I started this boat as a low budget build and didn't plan on being in a hurry to get it done . I have spent a lot more than I originally planned to spend , and done a lot more than I expected to do to it . At this point I am just happy to be close to the end of the his build .

It's a great feeling to be sitting on the lake in your project, with a cold brew in your hand.....

Hope to see your project at Tawak this year.

The motors back in again  jump.gif Still got a lot to do before I put it in the water , but mostly little piddly stuff . I think the little things have to be the most expensive part of putting together a boat . All the little last minute items add up fast  :smile13: :smile13:

I have tons of pics I need to put up , but have been too busy with getting stuff done on the boat . I did end up doing a different setup on the motor mounts at the last minute . I have half of a four point , and the front half of a rail kit . Trying to decide on a few mounting locations for fuel pump and diverter pump now . Then get a little final assembly stuff done . I am not doing anything but finishing the boat for the next two days , it should be 100% by Monday night .

We'll have a bunch of boats on the water Wednesday night at Lavon. Great time for a lake test.

No . I can't seem to come up with a place to mount all the damn coils that will work with the headers , starter , and dipstick . I can't  really lake test with them hanging by the wires . I am back on it this morning . I am considering a stringer mount for them .

Anyone know where to get longer wires for an LS ? All the ones I have found are for regular setups with a dizzy .

I welded tabs on the stock brackets and attached them to the motor mounts. They are out of the way of everything.
