PHOENIX AND BEYOND 2.0

It was cloudy and cool today and it rained lightly until noon. I unhooked the boat and drove to River Drive which is mostly right along the river. I stopped at Pirates Den for lunch and then drove up to Fox's for a beer. Fox's is the favorite hangout of the locals and was packed. Then drove back to Parker to find Parker Oil where I will get VP fuel tomorrow on my way back to Phoenix. I may play some BlackJack tonight, so far I have resisted losing any money gambling.

First is some big carp at Pirates Den.

Second is Fox's, the bar was packed, no empty seats and they had a live band that was real good.

Third is a Shiada IO parked at Fox's. There are a lot of Shiadas up here.

Fourth is the beach that was filled with boats and people yesterday.

The weather wasn't all that great. Partial sun but it was warm enough. There were about 50 boats, mostly jets. NASTY BOY represented Texas quite well. I made a couple of passes in front of the beach and I guess nobody wanted to race.

Glad someone is still willing to take people for a ride that still want to go for a boat ride! Way to take one for the team to help keep boating going strong... 😎👍🏻

Back in sunny Phoenix. Going down for a nap! I didn't gamble, so I didn't loose $100. So my fuel in Parker only cost me $40. See my logic?

Daughter and I went to Saguaro Lake yesterday. Beautiful weather. It's a small lake, maybe 2 miles long then turns into a River. Met some cool local folks.

Not many adults go in past waist deep. Probably in the mid 60's for water temp. Air was high 80's and no wind. A couple more beers and I would have jumped in.  :smile16:

It hit 100 today. Probably 10% humidity. Not a cloud in sight. Headed to Canyon lake Saturday or Sunday.

Went to Canyon Lake Sunday. Daughter, granddaughter and her friend. It's a small lake that becomes a river. Pretty busy.
