Pebble Beach Sunday May 15, 2011

The kids and I are planning on hitting Pebble beach this Sunday May 15. At this point, the weather is forecast to be NICE with a high temp of 80F and the winds out of the souteast at about 10mph. Of course this forecast can change (and probably will) however right now, we're planning on being out there.

Wow, according to www.weather.com it appears that Sunday is turning out to be forecasted as a really nice day on the lake. With a high of 80F and winds out of the Northeast at 8mph, the conditions seem about perfect.

I spoke with Don on the phone earlier today and he said he plans on anchoring out off of Pebble beach on Sunday too. Little Ridge park is the closest boat ramp to Pebble beach and it's the one next to the power plant on the east side of lake Lavon.

Hope to see a few of you guys there.

Might be a little chilly on Sunday but I still plan on being out there. Don is still planning on coming out and Matt may as well

Great day at the lake. I tied up to dons new boat, Chad tied up to mine, Donnie tied to his etc etc. Lol. Great day and even better people!!

Lake Lavon is a fantastic lake, we're truly blessed.

That's Kirbys boat. It was white at the end of the season party last year, he painted it over the winter. Ran nice and seemed like it moved along quite well.

Man, Pebble beach has really changed since last year.  I can't believe how much closer it is to the power plant.  :smile28:

Haha....it's that "Global Warming" 'ole Al Gore has been warning us about....moving stuff around.

We were there for a little while and then went over to the beach on the north side of the Pebble beach cove near the swimming area....was having to much fun chatting and forgot to take more pictures.

Looks like we won't be able to meet you guys at Collin today. I have two huge holes in my transom where I'm installing some new exhaust tips. If we do come out today, it'll likely be later this afternoon and in the Whaler.

It's on NTJBC also with better pics. I could have drug it out today but the weather sure wasn't looking too good. I could hear rumbling in the sky off in the distance while I was shooting paint! It's pouring here now. FILL THEM LAKES UP!!
