I guess you didn't see me put the stink eye on those headers, once you bolt them on, she won't run again. It's like a voodoo curse. The only way to break it, is to got out and buy you a Ford Motor! :evil:

Well my whacker is neither fast nor quick! It's just got to get me from point a to point b. And if it can do that with out me paddling, I'll be happy! :smile16: My power pack just came in, so she mite start tonight!( Might) think.gif

Put your tongue on a spark plug wire to see if it is getting fire first.

There's always exceptions to the rule Henry, yours is one. I know CPT Hazelwood in his big ole Liberator ain't that quick in the quarter, but past that he's got another 30-40mph when most of our big block lake cruisers are done. And he'll do it all day long through some big ole honkin chop. Not quick, but VERY fast.

I might be picking up a whacker myself this afternoon...... More to follow...

The local rock station is playing some new Van Halen right now, and it's totally kickin a$$!!

Oh hell no I was holding one of the plugs by the boot on my old outboard and hand turning the engine over by the flywheel and with the msd on it and it must have had a crack in the boot or something cause it ran a shock right through one arm across my chest and out the other arm.  Man that stung for a long while.

There is definitely a difference between quick in a span of time/space and top speed.  Hell my moms old 77 Montecarlo with a 305 2 barrel had a hellava top speed but was slow as a pig in the quarter mile.  My old Barracuda was pretty decent on the top speed and ran under 13 sec in the quarter.  The Chrysler Jet boat top speed is supposed to be about 47mph and to me on a boat that's fast enough for now especially the lakes I am typically in.  Quick well it is a Jet boat so hole shot should be pretty good we will just have to see what it comes out to but I bet it won't compare to what most of ya'll have.  Even Knotty's whacker.

You do not understand Patch is one of the strange sort of guys that liked getting shocked for pleasure and entertainment.  He was telling me a story he like to do something about jumper cables clamped on his nipples and 12v, I don't know he scared me and I ran.  crazy.gif
