I am hoping to try the tandem trailer this year . I bought an ugle old single cab F-350 with a power stroke to pull the 30ft Fifth wheel and the boat behind it .I went with  the single cab to help the overall lenght..  I most likely will be over the 65 ft lenght , but I going to try it anyway .. Hope that Ford can handle it ..

Don't forget to let us know how much the ticket is when the trooper stops you.  :smile13:

I am planning on playing dumber than normal to see if he let me go with a warning .. LOL ..
Might have to trade this RV for one just a little smaller

I have not hooked on two both of them yet , so I am not sure exactly how long it will be .. Not sure it the 1996 Ford will pul lit , RV weighs in at almost 10,000, boat and trailer maybe 2000-2500 ??

I hoping the trooper does not have the tape measure to check me , Be my luck the weight and scale trooper wiil be out that day ..

D-Man, just get you a van, that way you can still use it to launch the boat without having to rely on other people.  :smile30:  I've seen them Freightliner delivery trucks converted to an RV with the popout sides, that would be nice.

I could build you a receiver for your boat trailer, then you could pull both behind the Lightning.  think.gif
