how far is the beach or area where every one will be at from the boat ramp. ??

Paul...its not far...in fact...i believe there will be spectator room from the bank...

The boat ramp is a couple hundred yards from the course and you will be able to see us run from the bank no problem! As for the water temp don't have a clue , but will be there Sunday and will find out. The cove is on the same end as the boat ramp which is a plus. It will be nice not to have to go 5 mile to a cove to run your boat.

cool, just checking as my old stump jumper only carry's about 5 gal. and this old wore out motor

When you get to FM 2624 follow the signs we will set some out the gps has a lot more roads than there actually are.

Alright Boaters here is some info for this weekend. The camp fee is $15.00 a night which includes launching your boat. Weekend fee for the boat ramp is $10.00 which includes 1 day or 3 days for the ones not camping. There will be no camp host so Me, Chop and Jaybo, Chops nephew will be collecting the money so just holar at us when you get there or get set up. Friday we will be on the lake hanging out and enjoying life!!!! Saturday morning at 10:30 A.M. we will have a Big Creek meeting at the Boat Ramp to go over the details. Saturday evening Brisket will be our main course and Hot Dogs for the Kiddos if the don't wont Brisket no charge on the food just bring you and your families and CHOW DOWN!!!! The Band will kick off around 8:00 P.M.! We are gonna put up some Balloons and signs starting at FM 2624 to lead you in the right direction. I will be there around noon on Thursday so if you have any questions contact me 903-278-4591. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone and REST UP because its fixing to be PARTY TIME COME FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jump.gif

Oh yeah, If you camp and you got more than 2 boats like 3 or 4 because sometimes people stay with people they need to pay the $10.00  for launching. We got to keep it fair guys and gals.

what are the temps up there? air temp and water temp? we are thinking about pitching a tent, on a site. and just wondering if i am gonna get hypothermia when i go swimming in my speedo.

its gonna be great weather...hi 50s at night ...low 80s daytime...Randall i went in neck deep 3 weeks ago...its not bad!!! :smile17:

Guys and gals...remember you are coming to the COUNTRY! Chop and Hobbs and some of the other outlaws went out yesterday and trimmed limbs and brush back to make more parking. They have a man gonna finish mow everything there tomorrow, anticipating a great turn out! The parking should be good, BUT remember we are gonna do our best to keep a handle on the parking so be patient and everyone have a great time. Its been said before but...WEAR YOUR LIFEJACKETS!!! Also some extra camp grounds were opened up yesterday also. I hope all has a great time of fun and fellowship! BOATS < BEER< AND BARBEQUE! iF ANY OF YOU NEED ANYTHING...feel free to contact ME, Hobbs or Chop.
