Depending on the lake elevation and how much rain we get between now and April!!!! The Outlaw group is having a BBQ and Run What Ya Brung gathering at Big Creek Landing April 27th- 29th. Big Creek is located on the west side of Wright Patman Lake in between Maud, TX and Redwater, TX. The boat ramp is at the cove we will be in. Campsites available are first come first serve and there are about 15 to 20 spots with power and another 15 to 20 spots were you can park and use a generator. We have other options for parking further down the road if needed. We will give out further details as time progresses!! As most people know Wright Patman is near Texarkana, TX. We are planning to have one heck of a good time so mark it on your calenders jump.gif jump.gif

That is a long ways off but sound like something I want to attend.  I am going to travel as much as Karol will allow me this year.  Got to make up for only playing half a year last year.

you should drag your boat with ya everywhere your son plays hockey, so you can get used to dragging the boat all over for this year!

Is this the same event as WPR being talked about over on PB?  I plan to be there.  Probably just make a day trip of it.  I have lots of family from Wake Village to Prescott AR.  I may stay with one of them.

looks like we will be coming up 96 to 59 to hwy 8 which runs to maud, is there a cr off of hwy 8 to get to big creek? which shows to be off 991/1208. or should we go up to redwater to 991 and then south to big creek?

I'll find out for sure, this is Chop and Hobbs neck of the woods, I've never been to that side of the lake.
