He's going to lock the engine hatch

:smile23: :smile23: :smile23: yea screw the engine! dont want to make a whacker motor look too good :smile23:

Thanks for all the  :smile15: guys!  im pretty sure i can have it running this summer! i still have to put all the gauges (2) back in and install the steering wheel,,shifter,,blah blah blah but i gotta get it close to the overhead hoist so someone can get my big ass out in case i get stuck under the dash :smile23: :smile23: :smile23: :smile23: :smile23:

Anyway  Duane the steer tube is not as bad as it looks. it does turn freely! Dunno why it the hole in the hull was so high for the tube but thats the way it came..  i can just imagine how much of an angle it would have had when it just had the bucket on it and no diverter! lol knock about 6 inches off of what i have now and it would be steep!

Thanks Bert!
you know whats funny is that pipe is 2" and 7"long but it has a reducer inside the boat that goes down to 1-1/2,,kinda reminds me of those old tail pipe tips you would see on a lot of pickup's that made a shit load of noise :smile23: :smile23:
there is no telling what it is going to sound like,,i took the baffles out of the gear box the exhaust runs thru also! :smile23: :smile23: :smile23:
