yall keep yalls eye open for a white and red boat putting around. I only been to summerville lake once, where is welch at. Is it up by the dam, cant wait to meet yall.

Going by road, you will cross the dam to get to Welch park. If you were gonna boat across from Rocky Creek, you'd head for the dam & Welch will be on the left hand side of it. Go to google maps, type in "lake somerville", once it brings it up, zoom in a little you'll be able to see it clearly on the map... :cool:

yep head straight for it and go into the cove to the left of it,  and watch out for the rocks that are off the point

Yup... or find out the hard way like this fella did. :undecided: :lipsrsealed:

That area is/was marked with buoys though.. so still not sure what he was thinkin when he tried to go through there.

Go down the dam road and you will run right into it.  :smile30:  I go through Summerville and get off 36 on to 8th street, go all the way down till you run into the dam and go right, again can't miss it!  :smile17:

Off of 36 N from Brenham, take a left at the gas station just like you would going to Rocky Creek.  After the RR take the first right.  Follow the road over the dam. At the end of the dam, the park entrance is on the left.  :grin: :wink:

290 west to Brenham.Follow hwy 36 north aprox 14 miles to fm 1948 .turn left. Cross the tracks. Turn Right. Follow road 4 Miles (across dam).Turn left into Welch.You should be able to hear those Fords Rusting for miles before you get there.
