You can go around and park on the grassy area near the marina if the wind is blowing to hard....not to bad at all.

ok, i just remembered when i put in there last year on a wednesday evening it was pretty rough over there, the eliminator sets a little lower in the water than the white boat i had........

Every weekend is a good one out there the only event I know of is the end of season tie up. Bout 175 boats last year in party cove with live band on a house boat in center. But that's more for big boats I just put mine on the anchor and let it do it's own thing. Should have mine ready for the season opener as long as I don't have to work I should be able to make it. As long as funds are there.
