Had it out Sunday.  I'm back in business.  We saw Don and he said you can out earlier that day.  We didn't get over there until 1:00 or so.  Maybe you can join us Wednesday.

Hey guys, New member here and just picked up the CVX 20 on the Abilene craigslist for $5 grand. I've owned a few boats in the past but never one that gets up and screams like this one. Anyway, I saw you also have a CVX Jethro. Do you always go to Lavon? I live right on Ray Hubbard in Rowlett so it's not too far. Is Lavon smoothe? I ask because Ray Hubbard is a royal pain out in the deep water, although party cove is nice and the CVX get a lot of looks and thumbs up there.

Also, mine seems to go through $40 in gas in a few short hours. Has anyone ever put a Holley Pro-jection on a 460? I used to have a pro-jection on an S10 with a 350 years ago. I would run mid 13's and get 19 mpg.

Those Glastron Carlsons are great boats. My cousin put the accel system on his 427 Chevy and it works well. It really is all in how you want to use it as far as how you tune it. Hope to see you Wed. nights at Lavon.

Welcome to the board.  You should start a new thread.  I saw your boat back on Craigslist already.  You should come out to Lavon this Wednesday and check it out for yourself.  It is not far at all from Rowlett.

Yeah, after we had it out on the deep water on Ray Hubbard the wife did not like riding in it at all. So I put back on Craigslist to get a deep V. Then Sunday, the kids and I took it out to the area on Ray Hubbard north of I-30 and west of Dalrock and the water there was smooth with a big area to tube and wake board. The boat performed perfectly all afternoon.

Where on Lavon and at what time? We'll be there. I've never been on the water there before.

Mike boat sound very NICE hopefully we can all get ours back up and running again at the sametime and all meet at lavon I should have mine back up and going by Sunday going to try to go to lavon East FORK Sunday call me if anyone is going to go out.

Been out of the computer world for a while, now I have it on my phone....... man a lot has changed on here, be around........ :smile30: and I'm not boatless anymore, got another project :smile13:
