New used pump

So if I pull the front bearing cover off and push the impeller forward, how ever far the shaft moves that how much clearance I have on the wearing right? It don't have a shoulder on the wear ring between pump and impeller that I can see. It's a big gap.

checking lateral clearance is only effective with a shouldered wear ring.

So my boat will probably run slower now. I had a B with .055 front clearance. Now I have a B with more I guess.

Hey Bobby, I've got that wear ring that Duane sent me.  I used the impeller but the wear ring would not work for me.  You're welcome to come get it and see if it will work for you.  It is shouldered.

Duane, It's that blue wear ring that came out of coonass's boat I believe.
