According to the literature, clearance under runway is 6' 7".  I can't raise it all the way in my garage with the truck on it.  My ceilings are 12'  It is high enough that I can walk under the truck.  I do have to duck under the runway though.  I am 6' 3"

For a home lift this was the way to go IMHO.  It is a little slow to raise with the 120 VAC pump but I am not making a living with it so it's not a problem for me.  There is a 220 upgrade pump available.  My only real regret is that I didn't buy one years ago.

I added some reflective tape to the posts and picked up a trailer dolly.  It made it much easier to park the boat.  If my driveway wasn't so crooked it would be a cake walk.

LOL.  I only use it to move the boat the last 10 feet or so.

They actually already make them for airplanes! Just have to adapt a ball mount on it! :smile30:
