Man I'm glad you live so close to the water. When I go usually I take the RV and stay at the water. That way it is real close and I go places that are nice and have great facilities. I'm not sure what great water you are talking about, but it's really not important to me. I judge water by it's clarity and surroundings. So I don't mind driving an hour to get there! We can discuss this topic on a more appropriate thread rather than jacking this one up. I respect the new guys and their wanting to introduce themselves. I guess he will know who you are now! think.gif :smile30:

That wakeboard boat looks familar its not the one that got spraied by the two jet boats at somerville this past summer is it.

Thanks for all the welcomes! If anyone is intersted I plan on putting Mumps in the water Saturday or Sunday on conroe, then after putting in the ski boat for a booze cruse.

Billy, I think I met you at the show.n.shine in needles. My dad just bought a TR5.

Not us, but there is a sister to ours, and I believe it is on sommerville.

Also, I personally don't have extra parts....... but I make it to so-cal often and my dad does lol....... V-Drives and GM that is....

Conroe is actually pretty nice right now, we have beaches all the way around the lake and no big  bling.gifgo fast boats lol

If they left it like it is right now it would actually be pretty nice , but when it's full it's not so nice . The walls keep the lake too choppy for us to be able to play , not to mention all the big boats that run up there .

that one on somerville was a chaparral, that mastercraft is in a whole different league.

Was not me , I only passed through Needle before . You may be thinking of JJ , he goes almost every year

How bad are the depths at conroe now, and what marinas can you launch at?  Ive got some chit gas in the tank that I need to burn.....
