Moving to East Texas

Looks like I will be relocating to East Texas, around Lufkin.  I live on Lake Lavon now, where do the East Texans hang out and on what night.  :smile17:

toledeo bend is primarily a fishing lake. u need to  go to Texas Island which is down close to the dam itself. ii prefer Sam  Rayburn lots of open water and big sandy beaches.  snake island at twin  dikes is the hang out place !

Thanks for forwarding that to me.  I am moving to Lufkin.  Have put an offer on a home.  Hope to be settled soon.  I will miss Lake Lavon, in Dallas area, it is an awsome Lake to boat on, good people and plenty of coves to get out of the wind in.
