After loosing my electric water pump and hurting it last year. 270 plus on my closed loop cooling system. It is going back together with a few upgrades.  Squared everything back up. Some Dart coatings on the pistons DC2 reflective heat barrier on the domes and DC1 anti friction coating on the skirts. Going with a steel gapless top ring and callico coated bearings. New cam 283/294 at .050. .800/.766 lift on a 115 lsa. Going from a double to a triple valve spring Manley 221448. Compression a little north of 15 to 1. Should be on the dyno next week. Will post a video.  Oh, and it will be a simple belt drive pump with lake water cooling this time.

I look forward to seeing it run again.
Is Billy going to be your Guinea pig testing it?  Oh, I mean test pilot.

Seriously, I know your looking forward to doing the testing and seeing how it runs.
Let us know when you're going to be down.

Galen can handle it now .. He has more seat time in it than me now .. I will be his co-pilot if he wants me there .. That boat is fun to drive for sure .. If of course  he needs me to make a pass for him to see how it looks running , I will be Honor to drive that boat ..

I think we should guess at the horsepower it will make ..

I think it will hit 1100 HP this year and run about 8000 rpm on the water and speed of 122 mph

Horsepower and RPM might be close.
Speed would be higher, much higher.
If I were to guess.

I think guesses and opinions might be worth about the same?
Dyno's, gps's and tachometers are worth more.
IMO.

Going to run it monday. I will post up the parts in it if anyone is interested. Not expecting as high a horsepower figure as the last (happy) dyno it was on. This dyno is brand new and mine will be the 3rd engine run on it since install.  Had the pro systems SV1 carb on it before, when we tore it apart it had damage from water in the fuel   New carb is a BRE 2 1/8 inch butterfly dominator. Working on getting the fuel and cooling system issues worked out now before it goes back in.

I will try and post the first video. It was giving Chuck fits from 7100 up, fuel curve would go crazy. This year it wanted a 1" spacer under the carb and it cleaned up. Brand new superflow dyno. Year before last  showed about 10 more horsepower on a DTS dyno. The engine just sounds happy for lack of a better word. It just does not labor and throttle response is clean. Burned 15 gallons of C14 on the dyno. Going to lake cooling this year using a teague belt drive neovane pump. Going through the heads and out through the block ( reverse flow).  I need 125-145 degrees on water temp.  Going to come down and hopefully get it sorted out with JJ's help so I don't get hot and hurt it again.
