been there and done that .. Cornbread pulled me in at Plowmnan two years  ago  when I had an ignition fuse mess the fuse block up .. Hell , he even pulled me in with a JET and it had a FORD in it .. OUCH !!!  LOL

I was not ashamed , it better than using that oar and taking forever to get back to the trailer to fix it .. Five minutes later i was back on the water and no problem rest of the weekend .. well except for completey blowing the 516 engine up .. but I made it back to the ramp just a knocking away ..

Lol, it's all good brother.

At the end of the season last year at Collin park, James's battery died and he couldn't start it. So just to keep people from making fun of my Ford towing his Ford the ramp, he got his crazy butt into the COLD (Novemeber 14, 2010) lake water and swam it over to the ramp.

Now THAT'S FORD PRIDE right there! Lol.

My boat has yet to be towed, but it did get swam in twice. The second time was at Lavon

The first time was when I first bought it and was not yet familiar with the exceptional economy a jet boat gives one with its amazing fuel consumption rate and ran the beast out of gas 200 yards from the ramp on Ray hubbard. My nephew and I swam it in in less than 15 minutes. That was a nice June day, so no biggie on that one.

Fuel economy isn't one of the BBF Jet owners top concern. Lol.

This I didn't know when I got my jet boat. The VIP bowrider I had befor ethe Glastron had a Mercruiser 4 banger with an Alpha outdrive. It could hit 50 and run all weekend on a tank of gas. But it had NO cool factor.

Some dude just came in for a washing machine part and saw my jet pump in the corner, said "Where the jet boat at?". Heused to be a factory Ford mechanic and totally dug the motor on the stand!

Man, I bet that Ford fellers jaw dropped open when he saw those Super Cobra Jet heads mounted on top of that beast you built. Cool!!
