A successful maiden voyage is always a good thing. Hopefully that sets the tone for the rest of your outings.  How the little ones like it?

She loves it.  That is her boat.  She was actually the driving force behind me getting it running.  Everytime she would walk by the boat she would ask, "Daddy, IS the boat running?"  I would say No. and she would give me an attitude like well what the problem is?!  It's been great working on it with her though.  She is little wrench turner for sure.  :smile16:

I was wondering, are flame arrestors and air filters the same thing?  I was thinking about openning up the port to the motor cover to let more air in.  I currently have a dinky edelbrock brand triangle shaped cheap foamy carb cover on the motor.  I wanted to put something a little more reliable.  Amy suggestions?

You need to stick with a uscg approved flame arrestor..
