well i took mine out saturday and discovered a fuel pressure issue at wide open throttle, idling and cruising is good as long as i dont stabb it, as soon as i do pressure drops to about 3 lbs, other than that everything seems to run good and handle good,

B O A T  break out another thousand................................. crazy.gif

Bigger pump???

yea i have to check a few things first, like if there is any restriction from the tank to the pump, but it may need a bigger pump, or maybe the vents in the cap are not big enough so it might be sucking more fuel than air coming into the tank and trying to collapse the tank

The vent is easy enough to check.  Just leave the cap open.

yep thats what i'm going to try first, if that dont help than it'll be a 5 gallon gas can with the hose directly from the pump, if still no good than it will be a new bigger pump

According to him, that water was too cold in Oklahoma to make a wide open top speed pass. He said he was gonna do it here in Texas.

Come on.  We want an update.

The update is we have been using the bow for saw horses. you can fit a big piece of 3/8 steel on there, plenty strong. The cutting torch left a few little dings but they will buff right out i'm sure.

David, did Don tell you he sold those carbs? a guy came over the other night and bought them right off your tunnel ram for $100. We gave him the stacks so you will probably need to come up with something else. We forgot to cover up the intake, but I'm sure nothing will get in there. That dirt dobber that got in Dons motor was a fluke.

Gotta love the result of leaving your boat at a buddies house!!.. :)

Cliff, if you want to quit paying storage fees you can bring the Crusader over here. There's plenty of room, plus the guys need a flat surface for painting refrigerator handles.. LOLOLOL

Just messin with ya man.. Although next winter I plan on having covered parking for my boat out back behind the shop. We're gonna pave the little patch of dirt back there and put an awning over it. Could probably park three boats there.

You know big block Chevy rockers will fit a big Ford, but you will lose .02 on your lift ratio.

On the other hand you can put Ford rockers on a Chevy and GAIN that .02 of rocker lift.
