Ordered my last piece of equipment tonight.  Race suit, now I cannot wait to hold onto the rope in hot long pants and long sleeve jacket  waiting for my turn.  :smile20:

Believe me setting out there with all that gear on in the middle of summer is brutal and if a boat crashes its double brutal.

Stacey that is the main reason I am afraid to go racing . I sweat so bad , i do not know if I can handle being out on the ropes that long .. And yes i have had people tell me a lot of tricks also , like packing ice down the back of the collar on the race suit and jacket , towels full of ice wraped around your neck and make sure you have something to drink ..

Henry - can;t wait for you to get this beast back in the water and make a hard pass with it ..

I can confirm that I think every time billy got in the water he raised Lake level he was sweating so bad.  :smile30:

Last time I raced in SDBA it was different, rolling starts and I had a slow boat then and did not have to wear as much gear.  This will be a whole new experience for me.  Not sure I will be very competitive this year.  I am getting a late start and a little behind the 8 ball.  We still do not know where to put my tune because I have not been through lights yet.  It will be fun and I will at least try to let them know I am there.
