I will be both, my 'ol tub is a dog on the first 660, I shift and it wakes up. It will be good seat time not expecting a lot.

How were your timeslips at half track? you could compare those to the QE timeslips and get a good idea. If I remember right you were running 8.1xx in PE. I have a feeling you'll be just fine!

It looks like in the picture of you running Walter Dulin, somebody forgot to put shield down, hard to tell all the way from here! As long as you had fun and nobody got wet.

He was running 6.60 at 1000ft.

well the air should be better at SITC thats for sure, ya'll got a tune up to pick up .70?

Don't know.  The blower wasn't making any boost at Marble Falls.  If that gets fixed, we'll probably still be short some.  We're just gonna take it one step at a time.  We're not gonna learn anything if we change everything at once.  lol.

The reason we want to run STC is just for data. I am a half track and beyond tub.  The boat wakes up after second.  We may look at gear change for quickness off the rope.  think.gif

Be checking that prop often too. :smile16: That's a lot of power. with little or no boost? chit. :smile26: Might wanna configure a jig to hold a runout gauge to check prop pull....and check it every pass.

Thats what I did last year, I was so worried about being too fast for the 9 sec class that we came off the trailer and ran something ridiculous like a 10.30 something... crazy.gif put everything back the way it was and went 9.04. go figure. Gonna try for the 8.0 bracket this time, but dunno if I can get there. Guess I'll keep on sprayin and prayin LOL

If the huffer wasnt making any air, it should be a beast when it does! I'm really looking forward to seeing it run. I was looking for it at Twak, but it was pretty clear that the water was too rough. That'll probably fix the first half for ya.

I am sending the blower off today.  I have no idea what it will do to the boat.  I need quickness I am ok on top end.  I guess we will see when it returns.

Just got off the phone with the Blower Shop $800 for a total re-build.  Plus shipping, I spent $150 for shipping it to them.  :smile20:  There went me racing at Smoking the cove.  :smile18:  The bright side is I should have plenty BOOST now.  :smile16:  I am real curious what this will do to my performance.  think.gif
