Love's Marina, Labor day

So we go there Monday afternoon and the tide is out and it's a bitch to launch and retrieve.
Where to get info on tides, and any info on how long it takes for high tide at Galveston to equal high water that far up the river?  Would that be at nearly the same time, or would there be substantial delay???

Well, I did some searching with the help of my cousin Iggy Google and it seems that for purposes of taking boats out this weekend, we have high tide early AM, low tide after sunrise, high tide again around 10:00 AM or so, low tide again before dark. This being at the Lynchburg Ferry.  Still curious about how long it might take for high water to flow all the way to Love's. Insight, anybody?

Man, I have no idea where you are. I'm familiar with tide tables....used them all the time when I lived in the florida keys.

The only thing that even somewhat resembles a tide in our lake is the low water level and it appears that the lake is receding to low tide quite rapidly.

I don't think many of us boat in the tidal areas or salt water. I'm sure theres a few of them southern fellers who ride in the brackish waters too.

Me, well I'm a fresh water jetter and when I hit the salt water down at Port A or Corpus, I bring the mighty Boston Whaler.
