We prepped it by washing it with a Brillo pads, soap and water. Then we rubbed some stuff that gets any oil and stuff that may still be on there off. ill ask what clear he used.

Looks good Bobby.

Jim, I can tell you from seeing both boats,  Bobby's was in worse shape than yours.  If his came out good, yours should be no problem.

I will have to do the Glastron myself, cause ALL my money is going to the Liberator.  The rewiring, GPS Speedo, and now both Carburetors need to be rebuilt.  Seems I have a heavy hand when it comes to tightening fuel bowl bolts and float adjusting screws.  Got to go to the machine shop and get helicoils for both carbs.

Here's what's going on my Glastron, and believe me, I'm no painter.. I"ll be dragging it out to the May 1st NTJBC Season Opener at Lavon with paint done and seats in it.

Guess it would help if I attached a pic.. LOL

This is the top clear. I think it was about $160 for both parts, 1 1/2 gallons sprayable.

I keep those helicoils and tap in my toolbox.
