Kristin and I watched Apocalypto (Mel Gibson) last night, and I guess all of the Mayan sacrafices they did trying to bring the rain worked!!!!  It was raining cats and dogs all morning!

If it keeps up at this rate, Somerville might be in decent shape come May!  jump.gif

It took me about 40 minutes of watching it to decide I didnt want to keep watching it.  By that time I had already invested so much time into the movie that I had to keep watching it.  Some crazy shiz in that movie!

Pretty much!

Peaceful Mayan village life.  Hunting in the jungle. Make fun of a guy because his pecker doesnt work right.  Village is attacked, skulls are crushed, necks are slit. Village people are kidnapped. Women are sold as slaves. Men as sacrafices. A bunch of dudes heads are cut off.  Heads tumble down stairs of a Mayan temple followed by their bodies.  A guy excapes, and the slave traders hunt him. He runs a long time.  He goes rambo on slave traders for the 2nd half of the movie.  More skulls are crushed.  More running. People are eaten by a jaguar. More running. People are attached by bees. More running. More skulls are crushed by wooden clubs. More running. It rains. A guy gets shot by thorns off a plant that are rubbed on a poisen dart frogs back, and blown through a bannana leaf. Wooden stakes are rammed through a bad ass dudes chest. More running. He runs to the ocean.  Christopher Columbus arrives.  The end.

I've seen it ...Snooze fest ... Chris is right.  just when you decide you should stop watching it you figure you might as well finish it.  I kept hoping it would get better...

LOL I say let it rain.  I don't like it cause I cant work on the boat but if it doesn't rain then we don't have lakes where I can use the boat.  Man what a Conundrum, what a catch 22.  I need a really big garage.

You just keep working on that thing, you got bigger cahonies than most the guys I know! Hell I can't imagine ripping my boat in half and actually putting it back together. I know it's already been said, but even if the boat aint ready, show up and most of us have plenty of room for passengers. Mine seats 9-10, just depends on how big they are! :smile16:

Patch believe it or not separating the hull was not that hard now what will be is making sure I don't end up widening the hull when putting in the sole accidentally so that when I put the cap back on it doesn't cover or fit.  Drilling and punching out all those rivets were a pain too.  Putting them back in will probably be just as much of a pain.

Nothing short of a Hurricane will stop me from getting this boat ready.  Money is not a huge issue as I already have most everything that is basically needed.  A lot of what I don't have is wants not needs.  I definitely want to meet up at the next gathering if I am available even if the boats not ready which if its before the end of April it wont be.  Definitely want to hit up a gathering memorial weekend though we will be out in full force that weekend that is if we don't have the boat out to Lake Limestone.

And Patch we know you were already counting yourself so the 9-10 doesn't include the Patchman.  That's what I believe and I am sticking to it.
