Looks like I am out again for tonight.  I can put the wear ring in an out completely by hand.  It's too loose.  The impeller will not fit on the shaft.  The shaft is bigger than the hole in the impeller.  I could fix the impeller with a brake hone but the wear ring is a deal breaker.

I could ask for nothing but oil in the oil pan.. It was a great night!!

Heck ya it was a great night.....we had a ton of people there and lot's of boats......very cool.

Just gotta get Matt back on the water then we're all good... Who was that guy with the boat that looked like Don's Sleekcraft there last night? He didn't put in cause it's still in the works I guess. It looked like it had a small block in it.

That is Don's Sleek and that was Don's son. His son has the boat now and is working on getting it back in the water.

you just get that boat up on plane good before ya start playing with that diverter ... too high at launch and you'll be seeing the moon up close and personal like ...

eyeball it for a neutral setup and only go one up or down till ya get a feel for it ... better to see how it's riding a little at a time rather than playing captain nemo all at once .......  I'm thinking launch at one down then two up as soon as it goes flat on you  although tints gets pretty bow high on launch but flattens out real nice ...
'course by then he's already doin a billion MPH ....................  :grin:

or just do like our BUDDY Bobby and just launch it at full rooste UP and look at the BLUE SKY hahaha.    I know on mine 3 up is perfect but two differnt boats so you will figure it out FAST.

X2, yea if you stand it up on launch and the motor dies for some reason you'll be swimming, just mark the spot and we'll come fish your boat out from the bottom of the lake brotha....lol
