Lake Tawakoni Regatta 2011 pictures from Don Pizarro Photography

Hey guys, as some of you already know Don Pizarro is a great friend of mine who was at the Tawakoni Regatta. He's a professional photographer and makes a living doing just that......photographing everything in sight. He took about 400 photos at the regatta and tried to capture everything that went on during our three day event.

Below is a link to the regatta pictures and also options if you want your boat to appear on a coffee mug, various sized posters/prints, note pads, mouse pads, puzzles, playing cards, etc.

Don printed an exploded 20"x30" view of my daughter playing in the mud and the detail/resolution was simply amazing! All of his pictures are high resolution and show the same level of definition as the picture he took of my daughter.

Tell Don when I asked for a disk I didn't realize he was doing this for a living.  I don't think he was when he came out and took pics at Lavon.  I have a good friend who is a professional photog and I understand how it makes them feel when people want their work for free.  That was not my intention.

He did the Lavon event for us as a favor......and because he knows me. He's a great guy and if we can support him, that'd be great.

Some nice pics in there . I need to go through them at home so I can look at them better and see if maybe I can get one of my boat that I like .. Seen a couple in there that it was getting just a little too much air under it ..  crazy.gif

Unfortunately he didn't get the shot of you completely coming out of the water after nailing the gas while you were coming at us.....that was an awesome sight to see!!!!

I was looking for that one , I saw the look on your face when i did that .. I  for sure launch it completely out of the water when i was coming straight toward you guys .  .. There is one in there that the whole left side of the boat is complety out of the water , even the left bottom of the transom is out of the water . The boat was hooking pretty hard in that picture .

It for sure needs all the cavitaion plate I can put in it taking off .

Man, that was off the hook!!! I couldn't believe my eyes...lol.

You were hooking pretty hard in the picture you're mentioning. I noticed your skeg and prop are the only two things in the water too......nice!

That man takes some good pics  clap.gif I have five I want to get ordered asap. At least his pics were taken with both headers on LOL. Hopefully next season will be a better one for me and starters. Now I have to accept the fact that winter is upon us and time to focus on a new build. Again, to all involved in the organization of this event a job well done, and looking foward to next years event.  :smile17:
