If my math is right PK is leating out 8,168,160 gallons per minute. And Granbury is double that. Whintey has gone up 10' in 7 days. crazy.gif

That is a lot of water .. i went down to our boat ramp yesterday and the current is moving and that is at the biggest part of the lake .. It is like a big mud puddle out there ..

Went to look at the river today water almost up to Kimball Bend bridge , water up to the rest rooms in the park . Plowman creek closed, Steele Creek closed. There was trees, trash, tires and junk the size of a foot ball field against the bridge. It will be weeks till it is safe on the river.  :smile18:

I went looked at Joe Pool couple days ago, and it is much higher now..... Boating going to be a late season this year.  last year we were hesitant to go because of low water conditions, this year trash and high water.....

When it cleans up some in month or two it will be nice then!

Mike and I are meeting at the Shell station where you turn in to Yegua and Rocky at 1:00 PM to have lunch and check out the lake. If anybody wnat's to join us. My cell is 281-743-0500.

I rode out to Travis yesterday to check out the lake. Here is the picture I took last fall and one I took yesterday standing at the top of the same ramp. It is at 666 and still 15ft low from normal but a heck of a lot better than it has been in a long time and very usable. Should be good boating this year!! jump.gif

Yea just seen that! I sure hope with all the water coming down the Brazos and the Trinity that those people in the south have somewhere for it to go. saw that Livingston is up as well and more flooding up here in Ellis County on the east side where the Trinity runs!
