The water flow in Granbury is pretty fast right now . Even in the main part of the lake , it is moving pretty good .. Water is still rising as PK is letting water out ..I think it will still get worse down stream

I'm very grateful for all of the rain so far.  Water supports life.  Without it, we wouldn't thrive or even exist.  There's no doubt that flooding is very devastating.  However, through that devastation, opportunity is often born.

The highland lakes still need a LOT of water.  Still praying for life giving rains to fill those lakes.  :smile30:

These wonderful rains have taken many lives, and a lot of property damage,  is it really worth that just to be happy to put a boat on the water,  for me I don't think so,  just saying,  and unfortunately,  it's not over yet

It's never been about just putting a boat on the water.  You of all people should realize that.  Look at your neighbors.  They're farmers that need irrigation water in times of drought in order to put food on their tables and yours.  Putting a boat on the water is just a by product.  And, nobody ever prayed for a flood.  Just a nice amount of water inflow to replace the depleted water level of reservoirs all over the state of Texas.

All true,  humans have migrated all over do to drought and what not,  then we think we can out smart Mother Nature,  then GOD shows us,  just saying,  that prayer and a mindful presence can have a devastating impact,  If there is enough numbers wishing or praying, which ever one may look at,  that event is going to happen,  and it will always be more than one wants,  any way carry on

Too bad.  A couple hundred miles would make all the difference in the world.

Yep.  The High Country is under a flash flood watch until tomorrow morning.  crazy.gif

Typical Texas weather.  We're getting everything back all at once.
