Kicking the Dog!

There has got to be a medication that you jetboaters take to keep from kicking the crap out of your dog everytime something goes wrong with your boats.  I swapped out carbs on my boat Friday it ran for about an hour while I tweaked on the idle.  I never got it right so I slept on it and the next morning I poped the old one back on there and fireed up the boat.  I always keep one eye on my oil pressure.  I noticed there was none.  I immediatley killed the motor.  I looked in the motor compartment and sure enough 6 quarts of oil sitting in the compartment.  I blew the seal on my oil filter.  This is a K&N oil filter that is supposed to have a pressure rating of 550 psi.  Even if the oil pump was stuck open, why did it run fine for an hour on Friday and now $h!T.  Pontoon boats are looking better and better every day.  :smile15:
