Been taking muscle relaxers pretty much every night.  Before memorial I was taking them maybe once every 3 weeks.  It is getting better I just don't want to push my limit with it.  It has only been 6 months since surgery.  Most I talk to that have had the same procedure took at least a year to fully recover.  AT this point we are still planning to attend.  Just have to see how I feel Sunday morning.

well fellas i tried my hardest to make it out there. just dropped a new distributor in the BBF set the time and fired right up. went to joe pool saturday to test it out runs great but then back it in the water and blows fire out the carberutor  :smile24:

went home and noticed my exhaust flaps were missing/? think.gif

can that make your ride not run? what is the true function of exhaust flaps? and is there anywhere local i can go buy a new set?  thanks fellas

the blowback was caused by probably incorrect timng, usually. We use convevor belt rubber for the flaps. :smile30:

I was in ET Automotive just yesterday and he has several flaps in stock in different sizes.  I think they were $5 each.

That was pretty cool Bobby.  He was walking off on you about 1500' past the finish line.  I'm sure that is the story he will tell.  LOL.

Yeah he was pulling up beside me when I was shutting down. He had about 3-4 mph on me but I wasn't racing 1/2mile lol. We talked a little after the second run and he said he ran mid 90s with that second prop he put on so I guess my boat is moving pretty good now!
