I sure wanted to make it down south...but looks like i cant...I hope tropical storm Don holds off for you guys! :smile17:

Well dammit Tint, thought I was gonna get to meet ya this go-round, maybe the next one.....

If that storm is bringin rain, it wouldn't bother me a bit, lots of waterin' holes around that need some relief.

I just checked the forcast in mid 90's all weekend no chance of rain. jump.gif
might want to check again!

It should not hit land fall until early next week.  And it is predicted to hit in the Houston Beaumont area. We need to rain.

Need to keep an eye on this for all going to JetFest:

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo_atl.shtml

Forecast just said Corpus area is right in the CENTER of the predicted paths.  Landfall times cannot be accurately predicted until like 2 days out.  Forward speed will not necessarily be constant through the period...

yeah we are looking at it up here in port arthur, waiting to hear the word for us to start moving some of our coast guard boats out of here, but we will be down there regardless, my hydro get's wet all the time, i just wont polish it till i get to orange grove! jump.gif

It shows Lake Corpus Christi is only at 57% full.. I've never been on that lake but it seems pretty bad. how does that effect where the event is ? are the boat ramps ok ?

We are staying at the state park, which is not terribly far away from Fiesta, I just called them & she sez both their ramps are still fine. I would assume Fiestas ramp is ok too. I'm sure if there is an issue with it, David(HorsepowerJunkie) will give a heads-up...
