    :grin:  diddo on the v-drive welcome thing , has been at least 12 years since i have been up there .  :smile17: would love to try to make it . use to love cruising with a couple of v - drive's from the dam down to self creek to the resturant and have a nice steak for supper and then take a nice  slow cruise back up the lake . in the back of my mind i can still hear the sound of the motors echoing  off the mountains as we cruised back , they were some good times way back when .  :smile19:  :smile19:

Hey guys, where do all the jets hang out at on Greeson now? The father and I got a new toy, a 2002 Warhawk TX-20 and we are looking for some other jetboaters to hang with. I live in Arkansas, he lives in Texas and the boat stays half way between in Louisiana so we are game for about anywhere.

We went to Greeson this weekend to test it ( we made reservations in the cabins at Swaha by the dam before we knew of the bad weather ) We just got back, we got to run it Saturday evening for a bit. We rode from the damn up to Kirby to scope it because Kirby used to be the jet boat hangout, just wondering where you guys hung out now and where all stayed? Swaha because they didn't have any openings for anything on June 12-14, so we are looking for somewhere to stay. If the boats all hang at Kirby we need to get closer because we used 20 gallons of 110 going to Kirby and back but we were both like  :smile13: the whole time so it was worth it.

is greeson down to a reasonable level yet?? friend of mine has a couple houseboats there  and sent me some pic's it was really up there. i think we are going to try and make it the 3rd weekend in july! they love it there and their houseboat!

The lake is on the down fall it's fallin about 1ft a day! Went up this past weekend, most of the camping is open and all the boat ramps are open!! :smile19:

Yes I called up there yesterday, they said it's a couple feet highe than normal but should be back to normal by this weekend. I'm gonna try to get up there this weekend and check it out. I'm only about an hour from it.

people at kirby said the lake will be fine! it should be a good time lots of people are talking about going you guys putting in at self creek we will be putting in at kirby so holar when yall get there we will be right around the corner

    From the dam you will pass chimney rock, keep going till you see two island on the right, go just passed the islands and take a right and go down a ways and you will see kirby camp grounds and just passed that you willl see the boat ramp on your left. If you go to self creek you went way tooo far!!!!    :smile13:  :smile15:

  :smile15: thank's  that's a lot closer  than self creek , a looooooooooooong time ago i alway's put in at the dam and rode up the lake was faster than pulling the boat around the lake , alway's stayed in murphysborow and alway's thought it was easier . will stop by and say hi  do the still race in the same cove down on the right side    (going back toward's the dam )  getting close  :smile19:  :smile19:

My best friend's family is from murpheesboro, I spent a few Christmas' up there, pretty country! Never saw the lake, though.........

Hey Weaver give me a call @ 903-742-1178.  I have the new motor in wildstreak and cranked it last night. :smile19: I sold the 632 and bought a motor that I can use to ride a lot more.
