Should have enough rides for everybody. My nitrous system won't be functional by then but should be running and floating.

well i bought a new engine hoist to get the motor out and there is another road block,  the dam thing is not long enough to reach the motor... must have been made in china,  if i have time i will go out to the steel yard and get a 6' x 2" tubing to make it longer,  what a pain in the a$$$  :smile15:

That is what I had to do on my engine hoist . Just need to be careful with the entension , it gets pretty easy to flip over if you go to far out . Mine is fine with just a Natural aspirated  big block on it ,

i need about 6" more,  yes the tipping got me worried but i have a plan for that,  i have some sandblasting sand, gonna make a counter balance tray to set it on...

Just adding 6 inches I don;t think will cause you any trouble . I added more than that to mine . Don't remember exactly .. The counter balance will work also ..

I still have to take one tire off of the trailer to get it to reach from the side to drop the engine in place .plus I have to  keep the trailer jacked up . It sucks to be a shade tree mechanic and not have all the good tools handy all the time ..

That's why I installed the short block first. Then put the heads on in the boat. But my motor wasn't already assembled like Kona's.
